Warranty Policy Explanation
All of our equipment is run and tested before it leaves the factory. The customer is purchasing this equipment
at our wholesale dealer cost at a great savings. If you want a better warranty than ours, you
would probably pay double or triple our price for it. There is no free warranty labor with this product. If a part should fail and the factory agrees that the part is defective they will replace the part free for the first 30 days of ownership. All replacement parts are on an exchange basis and the customer must pay the shipping both ways. The customer must pay the shipping and customs charges on all parts replacement.
Most failures turn out to be caused by poor maintenance or improper installation and operation. Many people will purchase a generator and run it around the clock for weeks with very little or no maintenance service. For this reason we limit our warranty to 30 days. We cannot accept the responsibility for those actions.
When the generator arrives it should be set up and serviced by an experienced service person. He or she is responsible to fill the engine with the proper grade motor oil and to service
(if a dry pack) the battery.
The generator should be properly grounded, or you could receive a deadly electrical shock. A licensed electrician should do the wiring because alternator failures and improper wiring and overloading of the unit causes accidents and mechanical or electrical failures. We cannot take back used generators and in the case of new unused equipment there is a forty percent restocking charge and freight is not refundable.
The customer is responsible for shipping.
The above is our policy on all power equipment. If you have a problem and you are not an experienced power equipment dealer or serviceperson you should seek out a reputable serviceperson in your area.
A word of warning, If you do have a problem with your equipment and you take it to a serviceperson that tells you it is a "throw away item", or similar words, Just go somewhere else, because that person is a hacker that either can't repair anything or can't be bothered. We easily perform all repairs on these units when problems arise locally.
If necessary, our units are simple to diagnose and repair by any professional. With proper care and maintenance your unit should give you thousands of hours of good service. |
